2. Material weighing system

Material weighing system is a key component that affects the quality of concrete and the cost of concrete production. In mixing stations above 50 cubic meters per hour, the weighing method of each weighing material is mostly used. All weighings are controlled by electronic scales and microcomputers. Aggregate weighing accuracy is ≤2%, and the weighing accuracy of cement, powder, water and admixtures is ≤1%.

3. Material Handling System

Material delivery consists of three somewhat:

1. Aggregate transportation; there are two methods of hopper transportation and belt transportation for mixing station transportation. The advantages of hopper progress are small footprint and simple structure. The advantages of belt conveying are large conveying interval, high efficiency and low failure rate. Belt conveyors are mainly suitable for mixing stations with temporary storage bins, and then improve the productivity of the mixing stations.

Second, the transportation of powder; the available powder for concrete is mainly cement, fly ash and mineral powder. The powder transportation method commonly used now is [1] transportation, and large-scale mixing buildings use pneumatic transportation. The advantages of spiral transportation are simple structure, low cost and reliable operation.

3. Liquid transportation mainly refers to water and liquid admixtures, which are transported separately by water pumps.

4. Material storage system

The material storage methods available for concrete are fundamentally the same. Aggregates are piled up in the open air (there are also closed silos for urban large-scale product concrete mixing stations); powders are stored in fully-enclosed steel structure silos; admixtures are stored in steel structure containers.

5. Control system

The control system of the concrete mixing station is the central nerve of the entire equipment. The control system has different functions and preparations according to the different requirements of the user and the size of the mixing station. Generally, the control system of the small mixing station available at the construction site is simple, while the system of the large mixing station is relatively messy.
