On February 20, Jining Hi-Tech Zone Federation of Trade Unions and China Coal Group held a mental health seminar with the theme of ‘From the Heart, With Love‘for more than 50 new employees who will soon join the company. Qin Yaru, a national second-class psychological counselor, was invited to give a lecture, focusing on workplace stress management, analysis of the current employment situation and anti-stress strategies for the sales industry to carry out thematic training, helping new employees to meet career challenges with a positive mindset.

At the beginning of the seminar, Ms. Qin quickly drew the distance with the students through interesting interactive games and guided the new employees to take the stress self-assessment test to visualize the negative emotions and behavioral reactions that may be triggered by workplace stress. Combined with the current employment market situation, she analyzed the core issues of ‘role transition anxiety‘, ‘performance appraisal pressure‘, ‘interpersonal communication barriers‘ and other issues that new employees generally face, emphasizing that She emphasized that mental health is the cornerstone of sustainable career development.

In view of the characteristics of the sales industry, Mr. Qin shared the ‘three-step method of anti-stress enhancement‘:

2. Emotional management: Use deep breathing, meditation and progressive muscle relaxation techniques to quickly calm your emotions;

During the activity, Mr. Qin simulated the high-pressure situation in sales scenarios through role-playing and case discussions, guiding the participants to practice stress coping strategies. A new employee who participated in the interaction said, ‘In the past, I always thought that stress resistance was just to carry on, but today I learned to use scientific methods to resolve anxiety, and I feel more confident about my future work. ‘
